Conflict Management & Lone Worker

SFM Training can provide appropriate Conflict Management at work and Lone Worker safety courses, ensuring both yourself and others are kept safe. Avoid injuries and potential litigation.

This course explains the general risks faced by staff members during the course of their work, visiting or dealing with clients/patients (even within their homes) and hazards by staff who are public facing. 

Combined bespoke 'Conflict Management at work' and 'Lone Worker safety' modules are also available, half day or full day packages that can be tailored to your needs. Course content includes; Communication and solve problems & reduce the likelihood of conflict, The factors that influence human responses in conflict situations, How to assess & reduce risks in conflict situations, How to communicate effectively & de-escalate conflict in emotive situations and Good practice to follow after conflict situations.

What do you need to bring to the course:

As per the emailed joining instructions, do not forget to bring 2/3 proofs of ID - which can be either a Passport or Driving licence (if you have both, then you need nothing else).

If you only have either a Passport or Driving licence then you will also need 2 proofs of address to go with it, like a utility bill, bank statement, phone bill or even a letter from job centre/DWP or anything else of a similar official nature

You will also need 1 recent (within the last 5 years) passport sized photo, this is submitted to the awarding body. We also recommend bringing a pencil and a rubber.
