Violence and Aggression Passport Scheme is usually delivered over 1 day, but bespoke packages can be tailored and shortened (or extended) to suit client needs. This short protective training suite is ideal for all sectors, but particularly retail, education, NHS, council workers, emergency services, carers, lone workers and front of house staff.
Course content includes (or can include); (Module A) Induction and Awareness including Polices/Procedures, Staff Support, Incident Reporting, Changing Culture, Employers Responsibilities, Employee Responsibilities, Concept of Risk Assessment.
(Module B) Personal Safety & De-escalation, Influencing factors of personal safety, Terms Violence and Aggression, Trigger factors, Communication to de-escalate potential incidents, legal and ethical issues, cultural and gender issues, employer and employee responsibilities.
(Module C) Breakaway demonstrations and practice of breakaway techniques without causing harm, situations including: Hair Grabs, Wrist Grabs, Clothes Grabs, Strangle Holds.

What do you need to bring to the course:
As per the emailed joining instructions, do not forget to bring 2/3 proofs of ID - which can be either a Passport or Driving licence (if you have both, then you need nothing else).
If you only have either a Passport or Driving licence then you will also need 2 proofs of address to go with it, like a utility bill, bank statement, phone bill or even a letter from job centre/DWP or anything else of a similar official nature
You will also need 1 recent (within the last 5 years) passport sized photo, this is submitted to the awarding body. We also recommend bringing a pencil and a rubber.
